Facebook moment

Erin and my work has hit the big time--on facebook, anyway. Emotional Leak has recently been installed and is on loan in Murano at Berengo Centre, home of Glasstress. We're happy to be included in this important gallery and hope lots of people come to see the work. it looks great there.Erin and I at Berengo Centre, what a great space!

Book Launch and artist talk

Next week my book on Constructions comes out. See the talk and exhibition on the 28th of November at 3pm. In the meantime see this short video about my show.

Constructions Solo Exhibition

My biggest solo show opened yesterday at National Glass Centre to the public, without much fanfare. But I am very relieved the past four months has resulted in more than few big works. I am incredibly grateful to my team of interns and assistants and volunteer engineer who made all of this possible. So in any case come see the exhibition here in the UK until Jan 5, and at some point in Portland, OR at Bullseye Gallery.

Press day spent inside my centrepiece, Beautiful Flaws. Do not try this in the gallery.

COLLECT 2013 and aftermath

It was a great week at COLLECT 2013. Erin and I did make it to the top of the Saatchi Gallery ceiling, and we did have a smooth setup (thanks to all our help!) and a slightly hairy takedown. In any case we got good exposure and even a little love from the blogs. Thanks to Crafts Council and to Lani McGregor of Bullseye Glass for their posts.

This week at COLLECT 2013

After a mock install at university, we're all set to install Emotional Leak at Collect 2013. If we survive, I'll have an artist talk Saturday as part of the public programme. See details on this here. Also, I've got some free passes to the fair, so if anyone wants in to see the work, you're most welcome to drop me a line.
